WHO WE ARE
By the late 1990’s, the wholesale department of First Texas Honda was the nation’s 8th largest Honda wholesale distributor, and the wholesale department at Mercedes-Benz of Austin ranked 3rd nationally. These two wholesale departments were combined, and the result was the opening of Wholesale Parts Direct on July 9, 2001.
Now, in addition to being Austin’s largest Honda and Mercedes-Benz wholesale distributorship, WPD is able to meet your European, Asian and Domestic replacement parts needs by offering access to over 90 premium and quality replacement parts manufacturers. And our line card continues to grow!
WPD North opened its doors on June 1, 2009, enabling us to meet the needs of North Austin mechanical shops more efficiently. This satellite location adds another 5,000 square feet of warehouse space to the 65,000 square feet at our main warehouse located in South Austin. The most recent addition to the WPD family is WPD San Antonio, our 10,000 square foot warehouse located in the Alamo City, which opened July 11, 2011. We continue to grow like a Texas shade tree!
Wholesale Parts Direct (WPD) is a proud member of Continental Auto Group, a local Austin company since its inception in 1964. CAG was purchased by Bryan Hardeman in 1978, and since has expanded to include First Texas Honda, Mercedes-Benz of Austin, Austin Infiniti, Austin Subaru, and Continental Automotive Collision Center.
